Crushing

PE jaw crusher

The PE Jaw Crusher is a primary crushing machine designed for the first stage of size reduction in mining, quarrying, aggregate production, and recycling lines. It uses compressive force to break large feed materials into a controlled output size, creating a reliable foundation for downstream secondary crushing, screening, or grinding processes.

Engineered with a deep crushing chamber, heavy-duty frame structure, and high-strength jaw assembly, the PE series is suitable for handling hard rock, ore, construction stone, and other bulk materials requiring stable primary crushing performance.

PE jaw crusher

Key Benefits / Advantages

High-capacity feed acceptance

The large feed opening allows the crusher to handle coarse material efficiently, making it suitable for front-end crushing duties in mining and quarry applications.

Deep crushing chamber

The crushing chamber is designed to support continuous material flow and effective size reduction, helping maintain stable performance in primary crushing.

High reduction ratio

PE Jaw Crusher delivers efficient coarse crushing and produces a discharge size suitable for downstream processing stages.

Stable operation

The crusher is designed for consistent performance under demanding working conditions, supporting reliable operation in continuous production environments.

Adjustable discharge opening

The discharge opening can be adjusted to meet different process requirements and to provide the feed size needed for the next stage of the plant.

Straightforward maintenance

The structure is designed for practical maintenance access, helping reduce service time and support routine operation.

Working Principle Visual

Working Principle

The PE Jaw Crusher crushes material through periodic compression between a fixed jaw plate and a moving jaw plate. Material enters the crushing chamber from the top opening and is progressively compressed as the moving jaw approaches the fixed jaw.

As the eccentric shaft rotates, it drives the movable jaw through the toggle plate mechanism, creating a reciprocating motion. During the closing stroke, the material is crushed by compression and splitting action. During the opening stroke, the crushed material moves downward by gravity until it reaches a size small enough to pass through the discharge opening.

This repeated crushing cycle allows the machine to reduce large lump materials into a consistent discharge size suitable for further processing.

Applications of PE jaw crushers

Mining and ore processing → Suitable for crushing gold ore, copper ore, iron ore, manganese ore, lead-zinc ore, and other hard rock materials before secondary crushing or grinding.

Quarry and aggregate production → Used for the primary reduction of granite, basalt, river stone, limestone, dolomite, and other stone materials in aggregate plants.

Construction material processing → Construction material processing Applied in the production of road base materials, concrete aggregates, and crushed stone for infrastructure projects.

Recycling and industrial feed preparation → Can be used in selected recycling applications where large feed needs to be reduced before further separation or processing.

Built for Heavy-Duty Primary Crushing

Primary crushing equipment must do more than reduce feed size. It must accept irregular large lumps, withstand continuous impact loading, and maintain stable operation as the first machine in the line. The PE Jaw Crusher is built specifically for these front-end duties.

Its frame, eccentric shaft, flywheel, and jaw assembly are designed for structural durability under high crushing force. The crushing chamber supports progressive reduction rather than abrupt choking, helping the machine handle coarse feed more effectively in real operating conditions.

For projects processing hard rock or abrasive ore, the PE series offers a practical balance of strength, simplicity, and serviceability. This makes it a dependable choice for operators who prioritize stable throughput, straightforward maintenance, and long-term mechanical reliability in the primary crushing stage.
